I never really think about what I am thankful for not even around this time, but i vow to change all that and to be thankful every day not just the holidays.
I'm going to start a continuing list of things and really reflect on all of them.
For starters I am thankful for life, for my health for the air i breathe in an out effortlessly every second of every day. I am thankful for two parents, still together, generally healthy and loving people. I don't call, write, or tell them enough how much i love them and appreciate them. I had a wonderful childhood and wouldn't trade it in for any other.
I am thankful for my smarts, they've got me to where i am now. I'm not a millionaire nor do I aspire to be one, I want to be remembered not for things in my life but for how i enriched peoples lives. I'm thankful for my patience. I'm thankful for my wonderful boyfriend, who is still healing inside his heart and mind and who is brilliant and loving and wonderful. I am thankful for my friends, the few that i have they are solid, wonderful, beautiful beyond words. I would do anything for them and I'm pretty sure they would do the same for me.
I am thankful for my pets, mia and rocco - when i look into their eyes I see God and they are perfect reflections of Him.
I am thankful for finding my path, stumbling upon it 39 years later but i am passionate about it. Grateful every day for what I have and thankful for what I don't.
